Hello and once again can I wish you all a Happy Christmas and a Very Merry New Year. It is hard to believe we have now been open for over 15 years. Yes, the Leisure Centre first opened it’s doors in July 2009. Without doubt we have become an essential part of many people’s lives in North Yorkshire and County Durham. With so much to do in the Centre hopefully 2025 will be the year when you try something different. Take yourself out of your comfort zone and try one of our classes in the studio, there really is something to suit all needs and abilities. Alternatively, if you tend to be a swimmer why not book an induction and add the gym to your weekly programme, you never know you might just enjoy the new experience. Likewise, for the gym users introducing swimming as part of your recovery programme will prove extremely beneficial. For the more adventurous why not venture into the Sports Hall and try Badminton, Table Tennis or Pickleball. Go on take the bull by the horns and try something new in the Leisure Centre next year. Variety really is the spice of life! Whatever you do you can be assured that our team will be on hand to ensure your experiences in the Centre will be as enjoyable as possible this forthcoming year.
